Greenwood MO Name

Girls Softball
Greenwood Parks and Recreation program is open to girls Pre-kindergarten through 8th grade.

This division is part of a "share play" league within the South Metro Recreation League, which consists of Greenwood, Harrisonville, Pleasant Hill, Belton, Raymore and Peculiar. All of the practices will be in Greenwood. Half of the games will be scheduled at home in Greenwood, with the remaining half being scheduled among the other towns. It has not yet been determined which towns Greenwood will share play with for the upcoming season. In the event we are able to register 4 or more teams, we will forego "share play" and all games will be played within the Greenwood league and at Hitt Park during weeknights.

***We will also offer a Wooden Bat League for High School Freshman/Sophomores. In the event of low registration numbers, we may combine teams, or make other adjustments or refunds as deemed necessary to this new program for 2019. Details will be available at the Mandatory Coaches Meeting March 23rd.

The cost to play is $105 for T-Ball and $125 for all other regular Softball. Wooden Bat League will be $140. Registration includes a shirt, visor, basic photo package. Additionally, players will be invited to participate in MLB's Pitch Hit and Run competition (pending volunteers) in Greenwood and a free morning skills clinic.

Practices are scheduled to begin April 1st, while games will begin Mid-May and end Mid-July.
