Umpire in Charge (UIC): Paul Rader 

Requirements for Greenwood Parks & Rec Umpires

We are currently still taking applications/forms for the 2020 Season, first come first served. 

We are looking for New and Experienced Umpires for Youth Baseball and Softball as follows: 

Junior Umpires: 1 year or less of umpire experience, and knowledge of rules/regulations of Youth Baseball/Softball

Senior Umpires: 1+ years of umpire experience, and knowledge of rules/regulations of Youth Baseball/Softball 

Any advances in rank are listed in the requirements above, based on performance, and are subject to availability and size of league any given year. 

Required Uniform/Equipment: 

Umpires are required to dress in official umpire uniform shirt, and blue/black or khaki pants/shorts with a belt, and comfortable closed toe sneakers/sports shoes. 

Equipment: 3 or 4 Dial Umpire Ball/Strike/Out Indicator, Base Brush, and Umpire Ball Bag 

Note: You MAY use an Umpire app in place of Indicator, at your own risk and discretion, but we are not responsible for phone damages/repairs, ect. We do NOT recommend this. 

***Umpire Safety Gear will be checked in and out on a daily basis for umpires on duty that day. This is the ONLY equipment that will be provided by Greenwood Sports League. You MAY provide your own, but it is not required.
